about
In my research, I learned that the tiger swallowtail butterfly is the state butterfly for Delaware - a butterfly indigenous to Delaware. Butterflies have always been a great symbol for growth so I felt that message paired well with this PAC. Additionally, I learned that the tiger swallowtail butterfly was nominated by young students via a vote! I love the idea of a symbol chosen by the youth will continue help drive growth for the future of Delaware. I also thought it was a lovely coincidence that the butterfly’s colors matched the Delaware state colors.
